Box Score

RADNOR, Pa. – For the second time this season, the Cabrini College field hockey team battled to the final seconds of action before emerging victorious.

This afternoon, the Cavaliers topped Marywood University when freshman Kerry Anne Farrell scored off her own rebound 6:32 into overtime.

The victory evened the Blue and White's record to 4-4, with its four victories coming in its last four games.

Senior Katie Savage opened the scoring in the 18th minute when she converted a penalty stroke.  It was the senior's second career goal, both coming on penalty strokes this season.

The Pacers evened the score in the 52nd minute when Julie Kowalski found the back of the net.

The Cavaliers continued to press the issue, trying to score the go ahead goal as they outshot Marywood 10-3 in the second half and secured a 7-2 advantage in penalty corners.

The Blue and White dominated the overtime, taking 7 shots to Marywood's 0.  The game winner came as Farrell collected the rebound of her own shot and fired it past the Pacers' goalie, Natalie Winters.

Cabrini dominated the stat charts, outshooting Marywood 26-4 and taking 19 corner kicks to the Pacers' two.  Winters finished with 12 saves on the game.
