ASTON, Pa. – The Cabrini field hockey team extended its win streak to five games and improved to 7-6 overall with today's 4-1 win at Neumann University.  The Cavaliers now stand at 5-0 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference with just two conference games remaining.
The Blue and White jumped out to an early lead as sophomore 
Kerry Anne Farrell netted the first of two goals in 12th minute.  Just four minutes later, the sophomore doubled the lead after freshman 
Kylie McDevitt dribble up the field and found her alone in front of the goal.  The goals give Farrell a team high 14 on the season.
The Cavaliers extended their lead just 20 seconds into the second half as sophomore 
Jen Webb tallied her eighth goal of the year.  Junior 
Karlie Gruccio iced the game with her fifth goal of the season, assisted by freshman 
Taylor Mack.
Senior goaltender 
Genevieve Paulin recorded two saves to earn her 26th career victory.
Becky Giunto tallied the goal for Neumann (7-9, 3-1 CSAC).
The Blue and White returns to Edith Robb Dixon Field on Wednesday as it hosts Immaculata University at 6:30 p.m.
