Today's game marks the final regular season home match for the 13 seniors on the field hockey team,
Alexandra Swallow, Maddy Worley,
Jackie Neary,
Alexia Paglia,
Victoria Marchiani,
Ryan Taylor,
Sara Johnsen,
Emily Town,
Megan McLoughlin,
Sara DeVita,
Jess Tennett,
Brittany Smith and
Taylor Bookman.
As a group, these ladies have led Cabrini to 44 victories, including a 24-4 record in conference games and two CSAC championships. Over their careers, they have accumulated a total of 75 goals, 55 assists and 316 saves.
Thank you all for always epitomizing what it means to be a Cabrini Cavalier both on and off the field.
Last Meeting: Cavs upset bid falls shot in 3-2 loss to #18 Alvernia (10/29/2016)
Senior Alex Swallow put the Blue and White ahead in the third minute, as
Taylor Mack's penalty corner service deflected off the Alvernia defense to Swallow. Cabrini held its lead until the final minute of the opening half, as Alvernia evened the score at 1-1 heading into the halftime break.

Maddy Worley for a goal. The Crusaders, again, had an answer, tying the score less than a minute later.
The Crusaders scored the eventual winning goal late in the game, converting a penalty corner in the 62nd minute.

In addition to their season high eight goals, the Cavs also secured season high marks in penalty corners (20) and tied their season high marks in assists (5), shots (29), and shots on goal (24).
Swallow led the Blue and White with five shots, all coming on goal, while also securing two goals. Freshman
Gabby Thompson also netted two goals, while classmate
Maggie Nolen and seniors DeVita, Taylor and Paglia rounded out the scoring with one goal each.
The defense for the Blue and White was equally as impressive as the offense as they held the Gators to just one shot.
Alvernia Last Time Out: Cedar Golden Wolves earn #2 seed with 2-0 win over LVC (10/25/2017)
The Golden Wolves scored a pair of first half goals en route to a 2-0 win over Lebanon Valley College Wednesday evening in a MAC Commonwealth showdown at LVC. With the win, Alvernia secured the No. 2 seed in their upcoming MAC Commonwealth tournament.
The Golden Wolves opened the scoring in the 11th minute as freshman Madison Potthoff pushed a pass into the circle where senior Malorie McCoy converted it into a 1-0 lead. Alvernia doubled the lead to 2-0 in the 20th minute when junior Taylor Dorrin found senior Andrea Wysocki for her 12th goal of the season.
