A goal in each half was all Misericordia University needed to defeat visiting Marywood University in non-conference field hockey action in what was the regular season finale for each team.
A unassisted tally from junior Michaela Halesey in the 11th minute of action proved to be the game-winner for the Cougars. Senior Colby Eldridge knocked in her 11th goal of the season in the 41st minute of play to provide the hosts with an insurance goal.
Misericordia held a 10-9 lead in shots, with both squads placing seven on goal.
