What's at Stake?
The Cavaliers are looking to exact some revenge after Ursinus scored an 8-7 loss in the opening round of the 2015 NCAA Tournament.

Losers of two in a row, Cabrini is looking to reverse its recent fortune, while the Bears are looking to go 6-0 for the first time since 2010.

Last Meeting: Ursinus 8, Cabrini 7 (5/6/15, Radnor, PA)
The Cavaliers saw their 2015 season come to an end, as Ursinus scored an 8-7 win on the first round of the 2015 NCAA Tournament.  The Bears took control of the game during a 10 minute span of the second and third quarters, as they posted five unanswered goals to build a 7-3 lead midway through the third.

The Blue and White pulled to within one goal in the third and fourth quarters, but could not get over the hump.

Ethan Heisman and Damian Sobieski scored twice for the Cavaliers, while junior Joey Hoey caused three turnovers and scooped five ground balls.

Junior Gerald Brown led the Bears with four points, including three assists, while current Ursinus assistant coach scored two goals, including the eventual game-winner. Senior Matthew Cioeta caused three turnovers in the win.

Cabrini Last Time Out: Frostburg State 11, Cabrini 8 (3/11/17, Radnor, PA)
With the scored tied at 1-1 after 15 minutes, Frostburg State exploded for six second quarter goals, with five straight coming in a span of 6:20 to take a 7-3 lead at the break.

Sophomore Timmy Brooks pulled the Cavaliers to within 9-7 early in the fourth quarter, but the Bobcats expanded their lead with two goals in 45 seconds with just over six minutes to play.

Freshman Tyler Kostack led the Blue and White with three goals, marking his fourth hat trick of the season, while fellow rookie Drew Hanna matched Kostack's three points, pairing a goal and two assists.

Senior Steve Halko anchored the Cabrini defense, pairing four ground balls and four caused turnovers.

Ursinus Last Time Out: Ursinus 15, Elizabethtown 10 (3/12/17, Collegeville, PA)
After a back and forth first half, Ursinus found its rhythm in the third quarter, outscoring the Blue Jays 6-2 in the third quarter, turning its 7-5 halftime lead into a commanding 13-7 cushio entering the final period.

Sophomore Peter DeSimone and joined Brown and fellow junior Lou Harrison combined for 10 goals, while freshman Bobby McClure dished out three assists.  Freshman Reagan Ketchum joined DeSimone and Harison with four points each.

Senior Steve Palo finished 12-for-20 at the faceoff spot and collected a career-high seven ground balls, while junior Brett Wojtkowiak and freshman Noah Frantz combined to cause five turnovers. Sophomore Elliot Shevitz notched 11 saves to record his third victory.

  • Cabrini has failed to record double digit goals in consecutive games for the first time in a span of 32 games.
  • The Blue and White is looking to avoid its second consecutive season with a three game losing streak. Prior to last season, the last time the Cavaliers dropped three straight games was 2005.
  • The Cavaliers' transition game ranks among the best in the nation, as evidenced by the club's .911 clearing percentage, eighth in the NCAA.
  • Kostack has recorded at least three points in all five games thus far and tallied four hat tricks on the season.
  • Cabrini ranks 24th in the nation with just 14.0 turnovers per game, while its opponents have committed nearly 19 miscues per game, with more than 10 caused by the Blue and White.

  • Freshman Bobby McClure is tied for the Centennial Conference lead with 13 assists, while his 23 total points are tied for second.
