Last Meeting: Cabrini topped Marywood 23-3 in CSAC Tournament Semifinal (4/30/16, Radnor, PA)
The Cavaliers punched their ticket to the CSAC title game with a 23-3 win over Marywood in the CSAC Tournament semifinal round. The Blue and White scored the game's first 21 goals, as it kept the Pacers off the board for nearly 40 minutes of play.
Cabrini outshot Marywood 60-12, including 39-7 in shots on goal. The Cavaliers also won 24 of the game's 30 faceoffs and pressured the Pacers in 22 turnovers, while committing just five of their own.
Fifteen Cavaliers accounted for the scoring, with sophomores
Jordan Krug and
Matt LoParo posting six points each. Fellow sophomore
Timmy Brooks matched his classmates with two goals on the day.
Junior Austin Maylor scored a goal for the Pacers, while sophomore goaltender Vinny Biancardi tallied 10 first half saves in the loss. Junior netminder Chris Favale added six stops after the break. Senior Bobby Sedlock added two ground balls and two caused turnovers.
Cabrini Last Time Out: Klein's OT goal toppled No. 1 Salisbury 11-10 (4/14/17, Radnor, PA)
Cabrini scored its first ever win over perennial power Salisbury, as freshman
Jake Klein scored 1:58 into overtime. The Cavaliers erased a 9-6 deficit in the final six minutes with four goals in a two minute span before the Sea Gulls evened the score with 35 ticks on the clock.

Matt Nestler sent the game to overtime with a save and ground ball in the final seconds of regulation. The rookie added his 13th save and seventh ground ball with a stop in overtime that allowed the Cavaliers to set up their final shots.
Krug led the Blue and White with a game high six points and four goals. Klein and junior
Zack Gregory added four points each, combining for five goals and three helpers. Junior
Riley Michaels went 7-11 at the faceoff spot and secured four ground balls, while freshman
Tommy DeLuca accounted for four of Cabrini's 10 caused turnovers.
Marywood Last Time Out: Pacers used 3rd quarter spurt to pull away from Rosemont 13-9 (4/12/17, Scranton, PA)
The Pacers recorded four consecutive goals in a span of four minutes in the third quarter to turn a 7-5 lead into a more comfortable 11-5 cushion en route to 13-9 victory. The win moved Marywood into third place in the league standings with three games to play.
Junior Matt Casto posted a career high seven points, pairing five goals and two assists. Classmate Rob Maini and freshman Zach Vaugh also notched two goals, while sophomore Zach Beja added two assists.
Junior Riley Litman went 12-24 at the X and secured a team high six ground balls, while Sedlock paired five ground balls and three caused turnovers. Favale posted nine saves in the victory.
