Last Meeting: Cavaliers topped then No. 10 Stevenson 15-10 in 1st round of NCAA Tournament
After falling behind 3-0 after the first quarter, Cabrini responded with seven second period goals to build a 7-5 lead at the half.
The Blue and White recorded three goals in a three minute span early in the third quarter to turn a 7-6 lead into a 10-6 cushion and never allowed the Mustangs to pull within three goals over the game's final 25 minutes.
Sophomore
Jordan Krug led the Cavaliers with six points on two goals and four assists. Classmate
Matt LoParo added three goals and two helpers, while senior
Evan Downey matched LoParo's two assists and secured five ground balls.
Senior Wade Korvin posted two goals and an assist for the Mustangs, while senior Kyle D'Onofrio and junior Domenic DeFazio secured five ground balls each.
The Cavaliers outshot Stevenson 56-48 and converted three of their five man-up chances, as Cabrini scored its second win over the Mustangs during the 2016 campaign and third consecutive win in the series.

After a slow start, the Blue and White exploded for seven unanswered goals in the second quarter to take a 10-3 lead at the half. Cabrini built a 53-26 advantage in shots and won 19 of the game's 25 faceoffs.
Sophomore
Bill Morgan recorded a career high seven points on four goals and three assists to lead the Cavaliers. Krug and fellow sophomore
Timmy Brooks matched Morgan with four goals.
Junior
Riley Michaels provided a spark for the Cabrini offense, winning 15 of his 19 chances at the faceoff spot and securing a career high 10 ground balls.
Freshmen
Tommy DeLuca and
Matt Nestler scooped four ground balls each, while Nestler recorded 10 saves in the win.
Stevenson Last Time Out: Mustangs celebrated Senior Night with an 18-8 in over Albright
Sophomore JT Thelen paired five goals and three assists to lead the Mustangs to their eighth consecutive victory. D'Onofrio added three goals and three assists, while Korvin and classmate Tyler Fuhrman also marked the soring column three times.
Freshman Justin Burnette went a stellar 22-24 at the faceoff spot and secured nine ground balls, while D'Onofrio, DeFazio and junior Dylan Harris scooped six of Stevenson's 60 ground balls on the day. Senior Ross Dinan sealed the victory with four saves.
The Mustangs completely dominated the stat sheet, outshooting Albright 64-26 and going 26-29 at the X, while holding the Lions to just 15-30 in clear attempts.
