This is the 16th consecutive NCAA appearance for the Cavaliers, who will look to advance to at least the third round for the ninth time in the last 10 years. Last year's second round matchup saw the Blue and White knock off the #10 ranked Stevenson Mustangs by a 15-10 final.

The Tigers rattled off three quick wins to start the season, including a 9-5 victory over fellow NCAA Tournament qualifier Transylvania. Colorado hit a mid season rough patch as they dropped three of their next five contests with losses to Berry College (9-5), #5 St. Lawrence University (10-6) and Babson College (11-9).

The Tigers rebounded in a big way, however as they finished out the season going 7-1 at home to improve their overall record to 10-5.

Colorado is led offensively by senior Austin Davie and junior Robbie Stern. The potent duo alone has accounted for more than a third (112) of the Tigers total points (323) on the season. Davie leads the team with 58 points on 34 goals, while Stern has racked up a team high 45 goals to go along with nine assists.

While the Tigers 12.47 goals per game ranks them 57th amongst division III, their defense has been the driving force behind their success. Their aforementioned defense is allowing just 8.2 goals per game, good enough for 39th nationally, and has proven their ability to slow quality offenses as they allowed just five goals to Transylvania and 10 to St. Lawrence.

Defensively, the Blue and White is led by freshman Tommy DeLuca and senior Steve Halko. The pair have combined for 37 caused turnovers and lead a defense that allows an average of just 7.11 goals per game (13th nationally).

The Cavaliers prowess on both ends of the field has led them to four victories over ranked opponents, including #20 Lynchburg (13-7), #14 Stevenson (15-9), #12 Ursinus (14-9) and the programs first ever win over #1 Salisbury (11-10 OT).

The Cavaliers recorded the game's first 11 goals. keeping the Pacers off the board for nearly 34 minutes of action.
