Last Meeting: Cabrini Scores 1-0 Victory at Neumann (10/4/2017, Aston, PA)
The Cavaliers dominated the action in last year's game, specifically in the opening 35 minutes, as they outshot the Knights 8-1, while earning 11 first half penalty corners to none for Neumann.

Despite the offensive advantage, the Blue and White mustered just one goal, as Sara Johnsen netted her third goal of the season in the 33rd minute.

Neumann found some offense in the second half, but the Cabrini defense was up to the task. Goaltender Taylor Bookman recorded each of her three saves in the second half to secure her third shutout of the season.

Meanwhile, the Blue and White continued to push for a second goal, outshooting the Knights 7-4 after the break. Sara DeVita and Jackie Neary combined for 10 of Cabrini's 15 shots, while MaryKate Kane added two.

Cabrini Last Time Out: Defense Secures Win at Cedar Crest (9/29/18, Allentown, PA)
Despite outshooting the Falcons 8-0 in the opening 35 minute period, the Cavaliers could not find their way onto the score board.

Cabrini finally broke through the Cedar Crest defense in the 51st minute, when freshman Lindsey Pozaic recorded her first career goal.

Holding the 1-0 lead, the Cavaliers turned their attention to the defensive end, as Cabrini notched just one more shot over the game's final 20 minutes.

The Blue and White fought off 10 second half penalty corners and five of the Falcon's eight shots after the break.

Sophomores Trisha Billig and Gabby Thompson led the Cavaliers with three shots each, while junior goaltender Devon Scharf recorded all three of her saves in the second half to secure her second shutout of the season.

Neumann Last Time Out: Knights Top Immaculata to Open AEC Play (10/3/2018, Immaculata, PA)
The Neumann University field hockey team picked up a 2-1 win to open Atlantic East Conference action at Immaculata University on Wednesday evening.

Chelsea Kulesza scored both goals for the Knights. Mary Miller made her first start in net for the season and made 12 saves. The team picked up five defensive saves.

The Mighty Macs opened the scoring in the 54th minute. After a penalty corner in the 62nd minute, Kulesza tied the game off an assist from Kayla Payne. In the 67th minute, the Knights were awarded a penalty stroke and Kulesza capitalized for a 2-1 lead and they held on for the win.
