After a scoreless first half, junior
Trisha Billig put the Blue and White on the board just 69 seconds into the second half. The Golden Wolves responded in the game's final minutes with the game tying and winning goals.
In the 65th minute, as junior Morgan Mondschein evened the score with an unassisted tally. The score wasn't tied for long, as Alvernia senior Erica Groves found Taylor Dorrin for the game-winner with less than 90 seconds left in the game.
The home team dominated the run of play, outshooting the Cavaliers 16-2 and forcing 14 penalty corners to none for Cabrini.
Billig accounted for both of Cabrini's shots, while goaltender
Devon Scharf made 11 saves in a losing effort.
Mondschein led the Golden Wolves with five shots, one more than junior Madison Potthoff and Andrea Zimmerman.

The Knights took advantage, leveling the score in the 41st minute and posting the game-winner in the 49th.
Sims accounted for 11 of Cabrini's season-high 37 shots, while classmate
Maura Tumelty added seven and junior
Gabby Thompson six. Senior goaltender
Noelia Ramirez posted 10 save sin the loss.
Alvernia Last Time Out: Alvernia 1, Albright 0 (2OT) (10/12/2019, Reading, PA)
Albright and Alvernia played 72 minutes of scoreless action before Potthoff converted a penalty stroke for the day's lone goal.
The Golden Wolves built an 11-6 advantage in shots, including a slim 3-2 advantage in the overtime periods, while Alvernia forced just two penalty corners, both coming in the third quarter.
Freshman Felicia Getz accounted for four of Alvernia's shots, while Mondschein joined Potthoff with two each. Senior netminder Emma Beamesderfer posted four saves to earn her third shutout of the season.
