RADNOR, Pa. – Two Cabrini University men's lacrosse student-athletes were selected as Division III Preseason All-Americans by Inside Lacrosse Magazine on Thursday.
Attack Mikey Vanaman and long stick midfielder Zack Kaut both received honorable mention from the publication.
Vanaman, the 2022 Atlantic East Player of the Year, has been an impact player for the Cavaliers. Last season, he led the squad with 89 points, tied for seventh on the program's single season points list, on 52 goals and 37 assists.
He tallied least three points in 19 of 21 games, including five games with at least five points, including the Atlantic East Championship game, during which he paired four goals and five assists en route to MVP honors.
Kaut, a second-team All-AEC selection last season, led the squad and ranked third in the Atlantic East with 29 caused turnovers and added eight goals and four helpers to the Cavaliers' attack. The senior long stick midfielder caused at least one turnover in 15 games and at least two one nine occasions, including four against both Haverford and Eastern. The senior also secured at least three ground balls in nine contests, including six in a season-opening win over Haverford.
