LOUISVILLE, KY. – Five Cabrini University men's lacrosse players were named USILA Division III All-Americans as Dillon McManus, Matt Hughes, Sam DiTrolio, Peter Hewitt and Zack Kaut,  were all named Honorable Mention, the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association announced Wednesday afternoon. 
 
McManus, a Dix Hills, N.Y. native comes off a 2023 season in which he was named both First Team All-Atlantic East and the conference Player of the Year. He led the AEC in goals per game with 3.16 as he tallied an even 60 on the year. He scored three or more goals in 12 of Cabrini's 19 games on the year. The senior finished fourth in the conference in total points with 84 and averaged 4.42 points per game. 
 
Hughes, a Wyomissing, Pa. native repeated as the conference's Defensive Player of the Year in 2023. He led the strongest defensive coalition in the league and as Cabrini allowed just 7.94 goals per game, the fewest of any team in the conference. He led the Cavs in caused turnovers with 17. 
 
DiTrolio, a freshman from Glen Mills, Pa., finished the season second in all of NCAA Division III in faceoff percentage with a .730 winning percentage at the X. He was named the Atlantic East Conference Rookie of the Year for 2023 as he led the league in faceoffs won with 187 and third in ground balls per game with 6.71. 
 
Hewitt and Kaut were named honorable mention short-stick and long stick midfielders, respectively. The duo was also named First Team All-Conference for the Cavaliers in 2023. Hewitt, a Berwyn, Pa. native was third on the team in ground balls with 61 and added 10 caused turnovers. Kaut, a Media, Pa. native finds himself on the All-America list for the second year in a row as he appeared in all 19 games, collecting 24 ground balls and 11 caused turnovers. 
 
This year's five All-Americans make a total of 88 in program history.
