Scouting the Knights (13-12 overall, 8-3 CSAC)
The Knights enter Tuesday's matchup with a 13-12 overall record after taking the first two games of the three game set against the Cavs on Saturday, by way of two separate 8-2 victories.

The Knights boast a high powered offense as they have recorded eight or more runs in 10 of their 25 games on the season and average over six (6.12) runs per game. Cody MacNair is hitting a robust .408 on the season to go along with three home runs and 19 RBI's. The pitching staff, however may be the largest challenge the Cavaliers face as starters Zach Youngberg and Grant Wallace own the two lowest ERA's in the conference at 0.82 and 1.17, respectively.

The Knights are led by first year skipper Dan DiBartolomeo, who was an assistant at Neumann the previous two years where he oversaw much of the recruiting process as well as working with the infielders, base runners and hitting.

Cabrini Last Time Out: Defeated by Centenary 9-4 (4/10/17)
The Cavaliers held a 4-2 lead heading into the seventh inning, but were unable to hold on as the Cyclones tagged the Cavaliers' relievers for seven runs across the final two innings to take a late 9-4 lead that they would not relinquish.

Starter Jake Dohar pitched in and out of trouble in the first three innings as he issued five free passes to go along with two wild pitches. Despite the early control issues, Dohar turned in an overall solid effort on the mound as he lasted six innings, allowing just four hits and two earned runs. Moreover, three of the Cyclones' four hits off of Dohar came in the first inning.

Shaun Stackhouse (2-5, 2R), Colin Birzes (3-4) and Joe Aurite (2-3, 1RBI) all put together multi-hit performances for the Blue and White, while Dylan Butler and Alex Del Giudice both picked up an RBI apiece.

Neumann Last Time Out: Defeated by Arcadia15-1 (4/12/17)
After a scoreless first inning, Arcadia plated five runs in the second inning. The Knights added another run in the third, six more runs in the fifth inning and three in the ninth.

Neumann avoided the shutout with a run in the eighth inning. Kyle Weller led the inning off with a single and came around to score on a double by Nick Panissidi.

James Angellella started the game and went the first 1.1 innings. He allowed four runs on four hits. Jerome Cevetello pitched 3.1 scoreless innings and allowed just one hit and struck out four.
