Seven-time defending Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom champion Misericordia University swept a doubleheader from Delaware Valley University, 13-5 and 7-3, last Sunday.

However, Misericordia responded with 13 runs over the next four innings, including seven in the sixth inning. The Aggies put four on the board in the seventh thanks to two-run singles by Musselman and Steve Smith.
In the nightcap, Misericordia scored a single run in the third and that was all the runs through five innings as freshmen hurlers Cal Endy and Tom Jacob were in a pitcher's duel. In the top of the sixth, the Cougars took advantage of two costly Aggie errors and scored six runs in the innings for a 7-0 lead.
