Last Meeting: Cavs Use 16 Hits to Score 9-3 Win Over Immaculata (4/30/18)
Freshman Ray Lutick was superb for the Blue and White as the starter nearly tossed a complete game, going eight strong innings and allowing just three earned on five hits. The rookie also struck out six batters, marking the most strikeouts for a Cavalier pitcher this season.

The offense was equally as impressive as they recorded their most hits in a game since facing Clarks Summit on April 13th. Led by junior John Lindeborn, freshman Mack McKisson and senior Brett Kuchera, the Cavs 3-4-5 hitters went a combined 9-15 at the dish, scoring five runs and knocking in six. Lindeborn's three RBI's and three runs scored were a game high, while McKisson tallied a game high with four hits.

McKisson led off the scoring with an RBI double in the top of the first to give the Blue and White the early 1-0 lead. The Cavs added two more runs in the fourth thanks to RBI's from Kuchera and Gares and four more runs in the sixth to balloon the lead to 7-0. A Kuchera homer and Norris RBI single in the ninth would add a couple more insurance runs for the visitors and allow the Cavs to coast to the eventual 9-3 final.

Cabrini Last Time Out: Cavs Edge Centenary 9-5 (4/28/18)
Sophomore DH Vince Gares led the Cavs with three hits, while he and Barrett finished with two RBI's each. Sophomore Tyler Norris, along with Barrett, McKisson and Kuchera finished with two hits apiece, while senior Dylan Butler, sophomore Joe Aurite and freshman Brian Protesto tallied one hit a piece.

Rookie Griffin Hays earned the start in game two and worked through 4.2 innings as he allowed nine hits, but limited the Cyclones to three runs. The Cavs bullpen did the rest as a trio of freshmen in Drew SwireMatt Dobeck and Shane Souchuck combined to toss 4.1 innings and allow just two runs.

The Blue and White offense struck early as they jumped Cyclones' starter Casey Brown for eight runs in just 1.2 innings. The early lead proved pivotal as Centenary would eventually push five runs across. They Cyclones would chip away, pushing across three runs in the fifth and two more in the seventh, but Cabrini would ultimately hold on for the aforementioned 9-5 final.

Immaculata Last Time Out: Mighty Macs Cruise to 8-0 Victory Over Summit (4/28/18)
Before taking on Cabrini, the Mighty Macs hosted the Clarks Summit Defenders for an afternoon double header. After taking game one by a decisive 23-1 final, the Macs came out swinging hot bats in the nightcap with four runs in the bottom of the first to put the early pressure on the visiting Defenders.

Summit wouldn't pose much of a threat on the afternoon as they tallied just four hits on the afternoon and failed to score.

Immaculata would add a single run in the third and three insurance runs in the eights to put the game away for good.
