The Cavaliers cruised to the game two victory behind some early offense and stout pitching, led by juniorÂ
Kyran Weemaels and sophomoreÂ
Ray Lutick. The pair combined for 7.1 innings and allowed just two runs (zero earned), while striking out eight. Lutick would earn the victory, his third of the season, after coming on in relief of Weemaels.Â
Norris, Stackhouse and sophomoreÂ
Steven Priest each collected two hits, but it was Moyer that delivered the big blow with a bases clearing triple in the fourth.Â
Norris kicked off the scoring for the Diamond Cavs with a solo home run in the second, while sophomoreÂ
JD Barrett doubled the lead in the third inning following an error by the Mighty Macs' left fielder, allowing juniorÂ
Henry Peguero to score.Â
Moyers' three RBI triple in the fourth punctuated the Cavs' scoring to hand the hosts a 5-0 lead.Â
Immaculata would add a run in the fifth and sixth to cut their deficit to 5-2, but Ronayne and sophomoreÂ
Drew Swire would shut the door as they combined for 1.2 innings of relief. Ronayne entered for the last out of game two following a pair of Mighty Macs' base runners to collect his second save of the day.Â

The Cavaliers needed just 23 hits to push across 29 runs as the offense grinded out a season best 16 walks, led by sophomoreÂ
Brendan Van Belle and juniorÂ
Shaun Stackhouse's three walks each.Â
The former finished a perfect 3-3 at the dish with four RBI's, one stolen base and a team best five runs scored. Van Belle also clubbed his first homerun of the season. ClassmateÂ
Brian Protesto delivered a team high four hits as the sophomore finished 4-6 with four runs, four RBI's and two stolen bases.Â

Garrett Laraia matched Van Belle with three hits and four RBI's, while juniorÂ
Joe Auritedrove in a game high five RBI's. A double and homerun accounted for Aurite's two hits.Â
Mack McKisson also went deep as the sophomore drove in four following a 2-4 effort.Â

The Immaculata University baseball team put up six runs in the seventh inning to defeat Penn State Berks in come-from-behind fashion for the Macs' sixth-straight victory Wednesday afternoon, 13-8. Richard Fontanillas launched a towering, solo home run in the fourth inning to open the scoring while Connor Blesi continued his recent hot stretch at the plate with a three-hit day including a pair of doubles.
Nick DeSantis picked up his first win on the mound in the 2019 season with an inning-plus of work out of the bullpen before Ryan Crowell came on for the final six outs to record his second save of his rookie season.
