Last Meeting: Cabrini 5, Neumann 7 (5/11/18)
The Cabrini baseball team saw their season come to a close following last season's loss to the Neumann University Knights on day two of the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) tournament.

The Knights scored four runs across the fifth, sixth and seventh innings to take the lead from the Cavs en route to the eventual 7-5 final.

Sophomore Ray Lutick was ultimately saddled with the loss after tossing five innings and allowing five runs. Senior  Tyler Ronayne logged three innings of relief and held the Knights' offense in check, allowing just a lone unearned run.

Lutick was opposed by Neumann's Phil Sanborn who went the distance for his squad. The sophomore scattered nine hits and allowed three earned to pick up his third victory of the season.

Cabrini Last Time Out: Cabrini 8, Wilkes 17 (4/3/19)
The Diamond Cavs pitching staff allowed a season high 17 runs on 18 hits. Junior Drew Jackson was saddled with the loss after allowing eight runs, six earned, in 2.1 innings of work. The righty issued six free passes and struck out three.

Opposing starter Frank Navatta labored through two innings, as he allowed six earned and four walks on three hits. The Colonels' bullpen picked their starter up, however as four pitchers combined for seven innings and allowed just a pair of runs to the Cavs' high powered offense.

Brendan Van Belle paced the aforementioned Cavalier offense as the sophomore finished with a team high three hits, while also scoring a pair of runs. Junior Shaun Stackhouse was the only other Cav to tally multiple hits thanks to a 2-4 effort, including a run scored.

Outfielder Tyler Norris continued his hot streak since returning to the lineup as the senior finished his afternoon 1-4 with four RBI's, highlighted by a three run bomb in the top of the third. Norris' homer gives him a team high three long balls on the year, while pushing his RBI total to 15.

Freshman Garrett Laraia also made his presence felt thanks to a two run triple, his second of the season, in the seventh.

Neumann Last Time Out: Neumann 8, Immaculata 4 (4/3/19)
Andrew La Rosa tallied four hits for the Knights. Joe Nepi knocked in three runs. Will Hart got his first collegiate win, going 6.0 innings. He allowed three runs on eight hits and struck out four. Jared Morris picked up a three inning save. He allowed one run on three hits and struck out two.

John Lindeborn led off the game with a single and came around to score on a ground out by Danny Padilla. The Mighty Macs tied the game at one in the bottom of the first inning.

In the second inning, Nepi hit a two-double to score Tyler Ramos and Donnie Weaver and give the Knights a 3-1 lead. Neumann added two more runs in the third for a 5-1 advantage. Immaculata answered with two runs in the bottom of the third for a 5-3 score.

Lindeborn scored his second run of the game after he walked in the sixth and came around to score on an RBI single by La Rosa. In the seventh, Ramos led off with a walk and then scored on a triple by Zach Ray. Ray scored on a sacrifice fly by Nepi for an 8-3 lead.

Immaculata scored a run in the bottom of the ninth inning, but Morris shut the door and the Knights came away with the 8-4 win.
