RADNOR, Pa. - Freshman men's basketball student-athlete Jair Green has been named the CabriniAthletics.com Student-Athlete of the Week, for the week ending Sunday, January 4.

Green recorded his third double-double of the season on Saturday in the Blue and White's 85-78 loss to Rosemont.Â

Green scored a team high 20 points and added 10 rebounds, a block and two steals.

The only Cavalier to start all 11 games this season, Green is second in the Colonial States Athletic Conference with 12 blocked shots, while his 332 minutes rank fourth in the league.Â

The rookie's 12.5 points per game are good for 13th in the CSAC, while his 5.9 rebounds rank 12th in the conference. Green also connects on .561 of his field goal attempts, the third highest percentage in the CSAC.

The Cavaliers (6-5, 3-1 CSAC) will welcome Immaculata (5-5, 3-0 CSAC) to Nerney Field House on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. and before hosting Cairn (0-9, 0-3 CSAC) on Saturday at 3 p.m.Â
