RADNOR, Pa. - Senior men’s basketball student-athlete Aaron Walton-Moss has been named the CabriniAthletics.com Student-Athlete of the Week, for the week ending Sunday February 1.
Walton-Moss averaged 29.5 points, 14 rebounds and 8.5 assists last week while shooting over 62% from the field in leading the Cavaliers to wins over Baptist Bible College and Keystone College.
The senior recorded his sixth triple double of the season in Wednesday’s 99-69 win over Baptist Bible. Walton-Moss finished with 36 points on 16-22 shooting, 11 rebounds, 10 assists and three steals.
In Saturday’s 104-92 victory over Keystone, the senior scored 23 points, pulled down a season high 17 rebounds and added seven assists.
Walton-Moss leads the CSAC with 19.9 points, 11.0 rebounds and 8.5 assists. The senior also ranks among the league's top 10 in field goal percentage, free throw percentage, blocked shots, steals and minutes played.
Walton-Moss and the Blue and White (13-9, 10-5 CSAC) will welcome Marywood University (13-8, 8-6 CSAC) to the Nerney Field House on Wednesday. Game time is set for 8 p.m.
