Senior softball student-athlete Kaitlyn Cooper has been named the CabriniAthletics.com Student-Athlete of the Week, for the week ending Sunday, April 17. 

Cooper helped lead the Blue and White to a 6-4 week, averaging .394 at the plate with 13 hits, including a double, triple, home run,12 RBI and 10 runs scored.

In the 5-2 win over the Philadelphia University Rams, Cooper went 2-3 and launched a three run home run to give the Blue and White a commanding 5-1 lead. The senior also tallied a three run triple that gave Cabrini a 4-2 lead in the fourth inning against Marywood. The Cavaliers went on to win 8-4. 

Cooper is averaging .379 on the year and ranks 14th in the CSAC with 33 hits, while her 27 RBI and three home runs are good for ninth in the league.
