Senior middle hitter Stephanie Recklau guided the Cabrini volleyball team to a perfect 5-0 record last week, averaging 2.46 kills per set and totaling a .418 attack percentage.

Recklau, named the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Player of the Week yesterday, buried 12 kills in 3-0 sweeps against Marywood University and Rosemont College on Oct. 9. She also downed eight kills in a 3-0 victory versus Keystone College on Oct. 9.

In the Cavaliers’ 3-1 win versus the College of Notre Dame on Oct. 6, Recklau totaled seven kills. She recorded five kills on just eight attempts in a 3-0 triumph against Wilkes University on Oct. 8.

Through 21 matches, Recklau leads the Blue & White with 171 kills, 2.41 kills per set and 76 total blocks. In 115 career matches played with the Cavaliers, she has tallied 934 kills and a .361 attack percentage. Recklau was named the CSAC Player of the Year in 2009.
