Sophomore men’s basketball student-athlete Aaron Walton-Moss was named CabriniAtheltics.com student-Athlete of the Week for the Week ending Sunday, January 20. Walton-Moss led the Blue and White with 19.5 points and 15.5 rebounds as it split a pair of CSAC games on the week.
In the Cavaliers 93-80 win at Gwynedd-Mercy, Walton-Moss recorded his first double-double of the season with 21 points on 9-12 shooting and 14 rebounds.
In Saturday’s 102-87 loss at Keystone, the sophomore nearly recorded a triple double. Walton-Moss tallied 18 points and grabbed game-high 17 rebounds. He also handed out seven rebounds, blocked two shots and recorded a pair of steals.
Through eight games, Walton-Moss leads the team with 15 points and 7.8 rebounds in 23.6 minutes of action. The sophomore also averages 3.75 assists and 1.63 steals per contest.
Walton-Moss and the Cavaliers (12-5, 8-2 CSAC) will return to action on Wednesday when they welcome Centenary College to Nerney Field House for conference action. Game time is slated for 7:00 p.m.
