RADNOR, Pa. – Sophomore men’s golf student athlete Joe Myers has been named the CabriniAthletics.com Student Athlete of the Week, for the week ending Sunday, April 19.
Last week, Myers led the Blue and White to a second place finish at Monday’s Albright College Invitational at Reading’s Berkshire Country Club.
Myers shot a round of 69 (-2) to lead all golfers on the 6,375 yard, par 71 course.
On Tuesday, Myers scored helped the place third at the CSAC Championship Preview Match at Philmont Country Club.
The sophomore shot a round of 85 on the par 70 circuit to finish tied for thirteenth.
Myers and the Cavaliers will begin defense of their 2014 CSAC title on Friday, as they compete in the 2015 CSAC Championship. The two-day event with tee off at 11 a.m. at Philmont Country Club in Huntingdon Valley, Pa. The second round will open on Saturday at 11 a.m.
