Sophomore women’s soccer student-athlete Devon Miller has been named CabriniAthletics.com Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sunday, November 10. Miller tallied four goals on the week to lead the Blue and White to its third consecutive Colonial States Athletic Conference championship.
In Wednesday’s CSAC semifinal against Neumann, Miller scored a pair of goals in a three minute span of the second half, icing a 3-0 home victory.
Miller was named Most Valuable Player in Cabrini’s 4-3 CSAC championship win on Saturday, after tallying a pair of second half goals in the match, both of which gave the Cavaliers a lead.
The sophomore now leads the club with nine goals on the season, while her 198 points rank second.
Miller and the Cavaliers (12-3-5) will travel to Geneva, N.Y. for Saturday’s NCAA Tournament opener, where they will face No. 3 William Smith College (17-1). The match is slated to begin at 11:00 a.m.
