RADNOR, Pa. – Junior women’s volleyball student-athlete Christine Ingargiola has been named the CabriniAthletics.com Student-Athlete of the Week, for the week ending Sunday, September 7.

Ingargiola was named to the MIT Invitational All-Tournament Team after leading Cabrini to a 3-1 weekend. The senior totaled 32 kills and five total blocks over four matches.  

The senior punctuated the successful weekend with a career best match in the Cavaliers' 3-1 win over Bates College. Ingargiola notched 18 kills against just one error in 27 total attacks, for a hitting percentage of .630.

For the year, Ingargiola leads the CSAC with a .363 hitting percentage and ranks third on the team with 82 kills and 14 total blocks.

Ingargiola and the Cavaliers (6-3) open their CSAC schedule tonight at home against Cairn (0-5). The match time is set for 7 p.m.
