Junior men’s basketball student-athlete Aaron Walton-Moss has been named
CabriniAthletics.com Student-Athlete of the week for the week ending Sunday, January 19. The junior posted 21.5 points, 13 rebounds, seven assists and three steals to lead the No. 3 Cavaliers to a pair of victories last week.
Walton-Moss posted his eighth double-double of the season in an 84-62 win at Immaculata, pairing 26 points, including 13-15 from the charity stripe, with 11 rebounds.
In Wednesday's 92-78 win over Rosemont, the junior became the fifth Division III player this season to record a triple double, tallying 17 points, 15 rebounds, 10 assists and four steals on 32 minutes of play.
On the season, Walton-Moss ranks in the top 20 in seven different NCAA statistical categories. The junior's 25.6 points rank fourth in the country, while he ranks 11th in rebounds with 11.2 and 20th in assists with 5.8. His 126 made field goals are fourth in the nation and 333 total points 12th.
Walton-Moss and the Cavaliers (14-0, 8-0 CSAC) will return to action on Wednesday when they welcome Neumann University (11-5, 6-3 CSAC) to Nerney Field House. Tip is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
