RADNOR,Pa. – Sophomore swimming student-athlete Hassan David Goines Jr. has been named the CabriniAthletics.com Student-Athlete of the Week, for the week ending Sunday, November 16.

Despite the 119-111 loss to Bethany on Saturday, Goines had a career day, winning all three of his races. The sophomore placed first in the 200 yard individual medley in 2:09.93, the 100 yard freestyle in 52:21 and the 100 yard breaststroke in 1:06.24.

Goines has now scored seven first place finishes on the year. The sophomore has tallied two wins in the 200 yard individual medley and 100 meter freestyle, along with victories in the 50 yard freestyle, 50 and 100 yard breaststrokes. 

The Cavaliers travel to Swarthmore, Pa. on Friday and Saturday to compete in the two-day Swarthmore Invitational. Friday's action is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
