RADNOR, Pa. - Senior swimming student-athlete Morgan Griffith has been named the CabriniAthletics.com Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sunday, November 30.

Last week, Griffith led her team to wins over Bryn Mawr College and Penn State Altoona.

Griffith earned three wins in Wednesday's 104-101 victory at Bryn Mawr. The senior recorded a time of 1:06.72 to win the 100 yard backstroke. Griffith’s  time of 1:11.86 was good for a victory in the 100 yard breaststroke, while her time of 25.87 secured a victory in the 50 yard freestyle.

On Saturday, Griffith, freshman Casey Merrill and sophomores Christina Melchiorre and Moira Prior led the women to a 114-75 win over Penn State-Altoona, opening the meet with a victory in the 400 yard medley relay, reaching the wall in 4:30.44. Griffith also earned a win in the 100 yard freestyle, with a time of finished in 57:33.

Griffith and the Blue and White have some time off and won't be back in action until January 10, when they travel to Widener University. The meet is scheduled for 1 p.m.
