Men’s basketball student-athlete Jeremy Knowles has been selected as this week’s CabriniAthletics.com Student-Athlete of the Week based on his on-court performance between November 21 and November 28.

Knowles led the No. 11 Cavaliers to a 94-87 win over the Widener University Pride on Saturday at Neumann’s University Mirenda Center. In his second game with the Blue and White, the junior led Cabrini with 24 points on 10-18 shooting and recorded a game-high eight rebounds. 

Knowles' 15 points and seven boards in the game’s decisive second half helped Cabrini extend its three point halftime lead.

Through three games, Knowles is third on the team with 14.7 points and the team’s leading rebounder, averaging 8.7 rebounds per game.

The Cavaliers will hit the road for Colonial States Athletics Conference action on Wednesday to face Philadelphia Biblical University.  Tip-off is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. 

The Cabrini men will return to the Nerney Field House on Saturday, when they host Keystone College.  The conference doubleheader features the ladies’ game at 1:00 p.m. with the men to follow at approximately 3:00 p.m.
