Freshman men’s lacrosse student-athlete Matt LoParo has been named the CabriniAthletics.com Student-Athlete of the Week, for the Week ending Sunday, May 8.
Last week, Loparo helped lead the Blue and White to its 16th consecutive Colonial States Athletic Conference men’s lacrosse championship, as the rookie scored a career high 10 points and a career best eights goals, including three in the game’s opening 10 minutes.
Following the 21-6 win over Gwynedd Mercy, Loparo was named the CSAC championship game Most Valuable Player for his efforts in the title game.
On the year, LoParo leads the conference in points and assists with 77 and 40, respectively, while his 37 goals ranks sixth.
