Senior field hockey student-athlete Taylor Mack has been named CabriniAthletics.com Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sunday, Sept. 4.
Mack totaled 10 points on four goals and two assists in three games for the Cavaliers last week.
The senior netted her first goal of the year in the Blue and White’s 3-2 loss to Haverford.
On Sunday, Mack led Cabrini to its first win of the campaign, a 6-0 victory at Drew University.
Mack posted a career best eight points, tying her career high three assists to go with two assists. The senior opened the scoring just over two minutes after the opening whistle and added a pair of first half assists, as Cabrini extended its lead to 4-0 at the half.
Mack continued her scoring after the halftime break, sealing the win with a pair of second half goals.
Through three games, Mack leads the Colonial States Athletic Conference with 10 points and four goals, while her two helpers are tied for second.
Mack and the Cavaliers (1-2) will return to action on Thursday, as they welcome No. 3 The College of New Jersey to Edith Robb Dixon Field. Game time is slated for 6:30pm.
