Cabrini golf student-athlete Chris Sarvadi has been named CabriniAthletics.com Student-Athlete of the Week after taking the individual title at the 2012 Colonial States Athletic Conference Championship last weekend.

The senior posted a 78 in Friday’s opening round, followed by Saturday’s 75 for a two-day score of 153. 

Sarvadi bested two other players by one stroke at the par 70 Brandywine Country Club in Wilmington, Del.

Sarvadi's finish marks the fifth consecutive year that a Cabrini golfer has finished atop the leader board at the CSAC Championship.  Greg Verde accomplished the feat in 2011 after Chris Lawler did it three times from 2008-10.

Sarvadi also secured All-CSAC First Team honors with his performance.
