Women’s basketball student-athlete Amber Keys has been named CabriniAthletics.com Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sunday, November 25. The sophomore had a career day in leading the Blue and White to a win over Eastern University.
The sophomore scored a game high 17 points on 8-10 shooting from the floor, in just 19 minutes of action. She also grabbed 12 rebounds, including eight on the offensive glass. Keys’ also added a pair of assists and two steals in the win.
Keys’ 17 points, 12 rebounds and eight field goals made were all career highs for the second year player.
On the season, the sophomore averages 6.5 points per night and ranks second on the team with 8.5 rebounds per contest. Keys ranks ninth in the CSAC in total rebounding and third in the league with 5.5 offensive rebounds per game.
Keys and the Cavaliers will next take the court on Monday, December 3 as they open their CSAC schedule with a visit to Notre Dame University of Maryland. Game time is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
