Senior men’s soccer student-athlete Ryan Juhring has been named CabriniAthletics.com Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sunday, November 11.      
 
While Juhring’s stat line reads zero’s, his play in the back of Cabrini’s defense was a major factor in the Blue and White’s
1-1 tie against No. 15 Susquehanna in Saturday’s opening round match of the NCAA Tournament.  

The senior was all over Cabrini’s defensive third of the field directing the Cavaliers and thwarting every Crusader attempt.  Susquehanna fired 15 shots but The Blue and White allowed just five of them on goal, four going to goalkeeper R.J. Pino.

Juhring’s best career performances may have come in his final two games.  The center back was also named Most Valuable Player in Cabrini’s 2-1 win over top seeded Rosemont in the CSAC championship game after directing the Cavaliers’ defense in front of Pino, who was making his first career start.

The senior finished the season tied for fourth on the team with three goals and seven total points.  For hos career, Juhring posted 23 points on eight goals and seven assists in 64 career appearances.
