Smith led the Cavaliers to a 126-66 victory at Ocean County College with a pair of wins on the day.  The senior won the 1,000 yard freestyle in 11:46.81 and the 500 yard freestyle in 5:48.91.  Smith's time in the 1000 yard freestyle was the third fastest in the conference this season, while her 500 yard freestyle time ranked sixth. 

During the season, Smith recorded some of the AMCC’s top times in four different events.  The senior’s time of 19:23.67 in the 1,650 freestyle ranks third, as does her 1,000 freestyle time from Saturday.  She also ranks fifth in the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:43.01 and seventh in the 200 freestyle in 2:11.40.

Smith and the Cavaliers are in the midst of a two week break from competition as they prepare for next weekend’s AMCC Championships.  The three day event is scheduled for Feb. 13-15 at Grove City College in Grove City, Pa.
