Junior women’s lacrosse student-athlete Lacie Doubet has been named CabriniAthletics.com Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sunday, March 16. The junior scored her 100th career goal as she helped Cabrini to a 1-1 week.
Doubet reached the century mark in a 15-10 loss to Ursinus on Monday. Three of the junior’s four goals on the day came in the second half, the first of which marked the 100th of her career, coming in just her 40th career game.
The junior added three goals and an assist as Cabrini topped Widener 15-13 on Saturday for the club’s first win of the season. Doubet also scoped three ground balls and secured a draw control in the win.
Through three games, Doubet ranks second in the team with 10 points and nine goals, both of which rank among the CSAC’s leaders. Her two free position goals are tied for the team lead, while her 20 shots and 17 shots on goal are second.
Doubet and the Cavaliers (1-2) open CSAC play on Wednesday when they welcome Notre Dame (Md.) (0-2) to Edith Robb Dixon Field. Game time is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
