RADNOR, Pa. - Junior field hockey student-athlete Kerry Anne Farrell has been named the CabriniAthletics.com Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sunday, September 28.  Farrell tallied five goals and two assists to lead the Blue and White to a 2-0 week.

On Wednesday, Farrell netted a career high four goals in the Cavaliers’ 6-2 win over Stevens Institute of Technology. On Saturday, Farrell tallied a goal and matched a career best with two assists as Cabrini scored a 6-0 Homecoming win over Keystone.

On the season, Farrell ranks second in the CSAC with 23 points and 10 goals, while her three assists are tied for third in the league.  After last week’s scoring output, Farrell now ranks among the country's top 20 scorers.  The junior's 2.88 points per game rank 18th in the nation, while her 1.25 goals per game are good for 13th in Division III.

The Blue and White (5-3, 1-0 CSAC) is back in action Saturday when it hosts Marywood University (4-5, 1-1 CSAC). Game time is slated for 12 Noon at Edith Robb Dixon Field.
