RADNOR, Pa. - Cabrini field hockey student-athlete Karlie Gruccio has been named CabriniAthletics.com Student-Athlete of the Week, for the week ending Sunday, November 2.

Gruccio scored two goals in her team's 2-1 win over Gwynedd Mercy on Wednesday. The senior's stellar play helped the Cavaliers secure the top seed in this week’s CSAC Tournament.

Gruccio's 33 points rank fifth in the CSAC and second on the team.  The senior's 13 goals place her in sixth place in the CSAC standings, while her seven assists rank her eighth in the conference. 

The Blue and White (12-4, 7-0 CSAC) will host Immaculata on Wednesday at 4 p.m. in the semifinal round of the CSAC Tournament.
