RADNOR, Pa.- Senior women’s student-athlete Terra McHenry has been named the CabriniAthletics.com Student-Athlete of the Week, for the week ending Sunday, October 18.
Last week, McHenry led the Blue and White to victories over Cedar Crest and Rosemont. In the Cavaliers 7-2 win over the Falcons on Thursday, McHenry won her number one singles match 6-0, 6-1 and paired with junior Elena Conway to earn an 8-4 number one doubles win.
McHenry also played a big part in the Cavaliers 8-1 win over the Ravens on Saturday, scoring another pair of victories. The senior won her number one singles match 6-1, 6-0 and joined Conway in earning an 8-3 number one doubles victory.
On the year, McHenry is 9-6 in her number one singles matches and also holds an 8-2 CSAC record. McHenry and Conway are 7-7 in number one doubles action and 6-4 in the CSAC this season.
McHenry and the Blue and White will play Friday, as the team travels to Legacy Tennis Center in Philadelphia, Pa. to take on Gwynedd Mercy (15-1, 10-0 CSAC) in a CSAC semifinal match at 9 a.m.
