Junior 1B Angela Shookster helped the Cabrini softball team to a 1-3 record last week with a team-high .308 batting average, three home runs and seven RBI.

Shookster hit a pair of two-run home runs and drove in four runs total the Cavaliers' 13-7 loss against Widener University on March 17. One day later, she slammed her third home run in two games in Cabrini's 7-5 victory against Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) opponent Marywood University.

Shookster posted a 1.000 slugging percentage and recorded 13 total bases for the week.

Through 10 games in 2011, Shookster is batting just .179, but leads the Cavaliers in home runs (3), RBI (8) and total bases (15). She is a career .280 hitter with 14 home runs and 61 RBI in just over two full seasons with the Blue & White.
