Junior Todd Walker has been named the CabriniAthletics.com Student-Athlete of the Week, for the week ending Sunday, January 17.
Last week, the men's team went 1-2, topping Wilkes 131-49, while falling to Ursinus and Widener 127-56 and 138-49, respectively.
Despite a tough week for the Blue and White, Walker impressed individually.
Walker was victorious in the 200 yard backstroke against Ursinus, finishing with a time of 2:03.24. Walker also added a second place finish in the 200 yard freestyle, reaching the wall in 1:53.05.

Walker's efforts carried over into Saturday's tri-meet against Widener and Wilkes, as the junior swimmer led the men's team with a first place finish in the 500 yard freestyle, reaching the wall in 5:02.82. Walker also finished second in the 200 yard individual medley in 2:11.69.
Walker and the Cavalier swim teams will conclude their regular season schedule on Saturday when the Blue and White travels to Swarthmore, Pa. to take on Swarthmore College at 2 p.m.
