Sophomore men’s soccer student-athlete AJ Bishop has been named the CabriniAthletics.com Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sunday, September 7.

On Wednesday, the Cavaliers pulled off the upset victory over No. 12 Rutgers-Camden.  It was Bishop who notched his first goal of the season giving Cabrini the 2-0 lead mid-way through the first half. The Scarlet Raptors put up a fight scoring in the 82nd minute, but Bishop’s insurance goal turned out to be enough as Cabrini dodged a bullet down the stretch.

The Blue and White will make the trip to Center Valley, Pa. to play DeSales University (1-2-1) on Wednesday.  Game time is scheduled for  4 p.m.
