Senior forward Dom Farrello led the Cabrini men's basketball team to the "Sweet 16" Round of the NCAA Tournament with two wins at home over the weekend.

Farrello averaged a double-double in two games at Nerney Field House, scoring 23.0 points and claiming 10.5 rebounds. He shot 42.9 percent from the floor overall and 92.9 percent from the free throw line.

Farrello netted 28 points, on 9-for-18 shooting, and secured eight rebounds in the Cavaliers' 85-76 first-round win against New Jersey City University on Friday night. He paired 18 points with 13 rebounds for his eighth double-double of the season and the ninth of his career in a 91-84 victory versus SUNY-Purchase in the second round on Saturday.

Farrello's 1,242 career points currently ranks seventh in program history. He is just the second player all-time to score more than 500 points (502) in a single season, joining former teammate Kevin Misevicius' performances in 2008-09 and 2009-10.
